• Event 1 − Saturday, 10^th May, 2025 at The Cambridge Working Men's Club, 125 East Rd, Cambridge CB1 2TX
• Event 2 − Saturday, 13^th September, 2025 at Legends Sports Bar, 1 Chapel Rd, Wisbech PE13 1RG
• Event 3 (Grand Final) − Saturday, 8^th November, 2025 at The Court Snooker & Pool Club, Mallard Rd, Peterborough PE3 8YN

FORMAT …↑

• International Rules.
• Entry fee − £100 for all 3 events or £40 per event. No refunds, once money is in the prize fund, it stays in the prize fund.
• Prize fund − see below.
• Age limit − same as EPA Intercounty under 18's − you must be 18 years old or under on 31^st December, 2025.
• The top 16 places in events 1 and 2 will attract ranking points which will then be used to seed the grand final main event.
• Double elimination event, race to 5 winner's side, race to 4 loser's side. You must lose twice to be eliminated.
• Prize fund dependent on entry numbers, but not less than 3rd and 4th and more likely to be at least the last 8.
• Entry open to Cambridgeshire EPA registered players only until 27^th February, then the rest of region 4 until 13^th March, then the rest of the country.
• Open to EPA and non-EPA members.
• Cambridgeshire Pool Association are sponsoring events 1 and 2 with £100 into the prize fund, and the grand final event 3 with £300.
• Maximum 32 players per event, depending on interest.
• Venues sponsor the event prize fund £2 per entrant on the day.
• No formal dress code.
• Events will be run on CueScore.

PRIZE FUND …↑

All money received in entry fees will be paid out for each event, plus £2 per player sponsorship from the club at each event, plus £100 from Cambridgeshire Pool Association for each of events 1 and 2, and £300 for the Grand Final, event 3.

RANKINGS TABLE …↑

Rankings points will be awarded:

• 1^st Place: 100 points − Winner of the tournament (Grand Final winner).
• 2^nd Place: 75 points − Loser of the Grand Final.
• 3^rd Place: 60 points − Loser of the Loser's Final.
• 4^th Place: 50 points − Loser of the Loser's Semi Final.
• 5^th Place (2 players): 40 points each − Losers of the Loser's Quarter Finals.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ON THE RANKINGS (22/09/2025) − Due to event 2 CueScore being incorrectly configured and the event subsequently deleted beyond our control, it is not possible to issue rankings point beyond the first 6 players for that event. So, out of fairness with event 1 and to ensure a level playing field for all, we have removed all rankings points beyond 6^th place for event 1. The table above is the final rankings positions for the Grand Final event 3.
